Our technical expertise, facilities and equipment allow us to manufacture open wire, molded and potted harnesses that can meet the most severe conditions such as high temperature limits, hostile environments, complex configurations, moisture resistance and EMI and RFI protection. All of the Semco products are constructed to withstand water (among other fluids), shock, vibration, temperature and pressure variances, salt spray, sand, dust and fungus – all in accordance with industry standards (MIL-STD-810 and RTCA-DO-160) and our customer specifications.

Manufacturing engine harnesses for the most demanding environments is a forte of Semco Instruments. Utilizing a proprietary molding process, Semco is capable of encapsulating back shells, junction boxes, anti-vibration mounts and other harness parts in rugged compounds such as Viton, Neoprene, polyurethane, and silicone rubbers. Through this process, Semco ensures production of harnesses that meet our customers’ particular environmental needs and long life. This includes, but is not limited to being flame retardant, abrasion resistant, and impervious to typical engine fluids.
