Speed Sensors are fabricated in a wide variety of configurations in order to meet specific application requirements. Using the latest materials, these speed sensors can provide from one to four independent signal outputs and can be designed to reliably perform in the most severe environments including temperatures in excess of 1000 degrees F. Configurations can include thread or flange mounting, integral sealing grooves, high temperature flexible cable extensions, and a standard connector or custom termination.

Semco Instrument's Speed Sensor family includes Magnetic Reluctance and Hall Effect sensors. These sensors respond to the presence or the interruption of a magnetic field by producing output proportional to the magnetic field strength. These devices are operated by the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or electromagnet. Actuation mode depends on the type of magnets used. Our sensors are durable, reliable, have long-life, and are compatible with other electronic circuits.
